Hanna Yerushalmi is an ordained reform rabbi who served Congregation Beth Or in Maple Glen, Pennsylvania, where she worked as that congregation’s first woman rabbi. She also served as the admissions director of Aleph Bet Jewish Day School in Annapolis and taught Hebrew at Anne Arundel Community College.
Currently, Hanna is a licensed professional counselor who works with couples and individuals around issues of intimacy. She is also the author of a recent book of poetry titled A Strip of Land: A Collection of Poems About Israel. She lives in Annapolis, Maryland, and, together with her husband, Rabbi Ari Goldstein, is raising four young adults, including their daughter who is doing a semester at Tel Aviv university.
Rabbi Yerushalmi will join in conversation with our community and share some of her recent poetry about Israel with all of us. Open to all!
