A Conversation on Obit with Jack Kadden

Join us for a conversation about the film Obit with B’nai Israel member Jack Kadden. The film highlights the obituary writers at the New York Times. Jack recently retired after 32 years at The New York Times, where he first worked as a copy editor, then chief of the metro copy desk and later as deputy education editor, deputy national editor, and most recently, deputy obituaries editor.  Jack continues to work regularly as a freelance editor on the obituaries desk of The Times and on other desks.

You’ll need to watch the film ahead of time, this will only be a discussion of the film. You can rent it for $4.99 on Amazon Prime.
