New Series!
In Conversation
Our people, our nation and our world are faced with challenges. At the heart of many of them is a failure to communicate. This series is intended to open up some of those lines of communication. Our clergy and educators will engage in open conversations about different of topics with people in our community and beyond – and with you.

In Conversation with Maharat Ruth Friedman
Thursday, November 12 from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Zoom
Join with Rabbi Marion as she gets together with Maharat Friedman for a conversation about gender and Jewish leadership in the Orthodox community. Following their conversation, we will open the “floor” for questions.

Maharat Ruth Friedman is a member of the inaugural class of Yeshivat Maharat, which is the first institution to ordain Orthodox women as spiritual leaders and halakhic (legal) authorities.  She serves as Maharat at Ohev Sholom – The National Synagogue® in Washington, D.C.
