  Perkins Gilman originally published in 1892.  Please join us!  The stor
 y is only 17 pages long.   You can read it online or borrow the book The
  Yellow Wallpaper which also contains other stories by Charlotte Perkins G
 ilman\, from the Temple or public library or a member of the Mental Health
  Team.  If you get the book\, please read the Introduction as well as the
  short story.  Unfortunately\, we’ll note that some attitudes have not 
 changed since 1892.
