Congregation B’nai Israel maintains two Endowment Funds to support our congregation. Each fund is governed and invested slightly differently. A summary of the Endowment Funds is listed below. Please consider a contribution to ensure the long-term financial security of Congregation B’nai Israel. No distributions until assets exceed $500,000

After reaching that dollar amount, income can be distributed at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.

The principal is not to be invaded or distributed under any circumstances.

This fair market value has been met and income is now distributed at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.

Dollar amount of available income is based on a total return approach and set as up to four percent of fund assets by the Investment Committee.

The principal may be distributed only for extraordinary non-operating expenditures by an affirmative vote of 80 percent of the Board of Trustees.
