On May 18 at 10:00 a.m., we will meet at a park in Fairfield, where we will work with the Mill River Wetland Committee to clean up the park and get it ready for the spring and summer season – basically, making the park beautiful and enjoyable for all, in an environmentally friendly way.
If you have available a shovel or rake, please bring one, as well as gardening gloves. And don’t forget to bring water – it’s important to stay hydrated when working outdoors under the sun!
For some background, the Mill River Wetland Committee has a simple and straightforward mission: Educate, Advocate, Engage.
• Educate the community about the value of watersheds
• Advocate for their continued protection
• Engage all people in the fight to protect our environment
Please sign up here, and we will be in touch about the specific location as we get closer: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050A45ADAB28A0FC1-56704723-mitzvah

We look forward to seeing you there.
