Cemeteries

B’nai Israel began as a cemetery association in 1855, when a group of German Jews in Bridgeport purchased property on Kings Highway in Fairfield. In the late 1990s, it was determined that the Kings Highway cemetery was approaching its capacity, so the congregation purchased a second cemetery in Monroe on Moose Hill Road.
