We invite our B’nai Israel parents of teenagers (focusing on kids in grades 8-12) to join us for a special session with Dr. Betsy Stone on parenting teens in a time of crisis. Dr. Stone will join with Rabbi Schultz and Rabbi Marion to offer a space for parents to share and discuss both the challenges of parenting teens in a time of crisis and some strategies to support your whole family during difficult times.

Dr. Betsy Stone is a retired clinical psychologist who currently teaches as an adjunct lecturer at HUC-JIR. Her classes include Human Development for Educators, The Spiritual Life-Cycle, Adolescent Development, and Families in Crisis; she has also taught Pastoral Counseling. 

Betsy teaches webinars and seminars, and serves as a Scholar in Residence, on topics including Adolescent Spirituality, Gen-Xers as parents, Teenagers and their Brains, Leadership in Crisis, and Stress and Anxiety. She is an engaging speaker whose passion for wellness has brought her invitations to teach all over the United States.
